Psalms

The whole book of Psalm is about David in his time of loneliness and fear for his life when hiding from King Saul. In this darkest time for David is when he cried out to God and was the closest to him. The very first verse of Psalm David wrote, "Deliver me from my enemies, O God; protect me from those who rise up against me.
The best place to start when we are at our lowest and can't seem to find our way is crying out to God. Totally relinquesing every aspect of our life. Then remember Gods faithfulness, love, and mercy like David did. Ask God to show you his love, mercy, and faithfulness. Verbalize your fears to God. Talk to him and tell him every thought. He knows them anyway. We can't hid anything from Him. Then pray that Gods will be done in your life and worship him whole heartedly. And then set back and enjoy Gods blessings and thank him daily for all the blessings you already have. Psalm is considered a love song to God because in our time of need and when we cry out for him it is music to his ears. He wants to be our comforter, our deliverer, and our refuge. He takes pleasure in being our father. All we have to do in return is love him and know that he is OUR GOD =)
